I had some very good friends recently join Momentis MLM. I was open to it and evaluated the company seriously. I attended their Momentis Network Marketing pitch and sat down with one of their top-earners, Julio. Julio had an amazing story of how he succeeded with this company, but in the end I couldn’t join.

First, as one of the top 10 internet marketers in Los Angeles I saw some clear pitfalls with the company. Simply go to Momentis.com and you can see for yourself. It is a fashion e-business solutions website. I am not sure what happened here and will not speculate any further. Also, Just Energy products and services can currently be sold in only 15 states. This is a huge gap in being able to market online.

Second, I am not interested in being utilities man. I want to join a company I can stand behind and be proud to be a part of.

Lastly, there is a $300 startup fee as a distributor for your licensing to advertise products from Just Energy. I feel like I’m offering very little value to people in recruiting them as a distributor and offering services at the same or slightly discounted prices. It would take them a very long time to make that money back without recruiting more people.

Yes, people make a lot of money very fast in this company. There are people that make a lot of money very fast in almost every network marketing company.

Tet 2011 Garden Grove

This is like my 3rd or 4th time going to Tet. I always park illegally in that plaza on the corner or Magnolia and Westminster. And again, I did not get towed.

I was there to cover the Miss Vietnam Southern California pageant and show some support for Leyna
I got there a little early and caught the end of a set by these young rockstars in a band called “714″

Pageant was really amazing and really long. Apparently, they started rehearsing for the pageant since OCTOBER 2010!!! (Yes, 4 months!)

Here was their choreographed, opening dance.

In between, they had individual introductions, a Q&A session, evening gown walk, cage match, talent show portion, and a final Q&A.

In between, I had a thai iced tea, lees sandwich, 6 meatballs on a stick, satay beef I think, and a fried banana. Oh, and I ate some sausage thing wrapped in foil like a tootsie roll with green onions in it? I’m not sure what I ate because everytime I asked, “what is this?” they would explain it to me in Vietnamese and then I would just reply, “ok, I’ll take one.”

in the parking lot of avec we roll by 7 smoking Asian girls in mini dresses and the girl next to me in my car says, “do you think those girls are Sexy or Crazy?” I replied, “both.”

Leaving Las Vegas

Took another trip to vegas. Stayed at the Venetian Bella Suite…

It looked smaller in the picture. I got a “suite” deal from hotels.com

We went to Tao nightclub since we were already staying at the Venetian and the concierge put us on the guestlist. This was the suck line…

We ended up just following a group of girls as they were walking past the line into the club. I didn’t know hotel guests had a separate guestlist line. ah well, next time.

This is what it looked like inside. They had sorta nekked girls in stone bath tubs as well.

…and of course you can’t leave without seeing the Bellagio Fountain Show. They changed the song…

…and the Caesar’s Palace Statue show…

If you listen to the conversation, it doesn’t even make sense. It’s like a bunch of gibberish. They should say something more interesting like, “I’m 110% sure this is your baby! It looks just like you! You need to come pay for your baby’s diapers.”

M Resort buffet was good. They have oyster and 2 different types of crab. Join the player’s club and it was 2 for 1 that day.

Gondola singer in the Venetian Hotel…

Vegas is never a let down.

They should make a cartoon version of the video with a Bee that slangs pollen.
